Tiger's Gift!
MarieM2M2K | Twas the night of Thanksgiving and out of the house
Tiger Woods came a flyin', chased by his spouse.
She wielded a nine iron and wasn't too merry,
Cause a bimbo's phone number was in his Blackberry.
He'd been cheatin' on Elin, and the story progressed.
Woman after woman stepped up and confessed.
He'd been cheatin' with Holly, and Jaimee, and Cori,
With Joselyn, and Kalika. The world had the story.
From the top of the Tour to the basement of blues,
Tiger's sad sordid tale was all over the news.
With hostesses, waitresses, he had lots of sex,
When not in their pants, he was sendin' them texts.
Despite all his cryin' and beggin' and pleadin',
Tiger's wife went investin' -- a new home in Sweden.
And I heard her exclaim from her white Escalade,
"If you're gettin' laid then I'm gettin' paid."
She's not pouting, in fact, she's of jolly good cheer,
Her pre-nup made Christmas come early this year.

"Shake it like a Salt Shaker!" - Commentary on Hip Hop Video Girls
Morena Moore | Video Chick, Video Vixen, Eye Candy, and Video Ho are all just a few names used to label scantily clad females depicted in music videos. It seems like nowadays everyone wants to be a video girl and show the cameras "what their mama gave 'em". Now there isn't anything wrong with appreciating your god given ASSets but the manner and context in which they are displayed can portray a woman as being either classy or just down right trashy. The latter seems to be what is frequently displayed in hip-hop videos, and even mainstream commercials.
Now I am not going to say these women are being exploited because they are willfully shaking it and bending over for the cameras. These ladies are not forced to portray themselves as sex objects; but is disheartening to continuously see young minority females shown in a degrading manner that can be witnessed in Nelly's "Tip Drill", Sisqo's "Thong Song", Ludacris' "Pussy Poppin" and the list goes on.
Female empowerment does not come from implicitly using one's sex appeal to advance in life. Though females like Karrine Steffans a.k.a. Superhead may lead some to believe it does. The infamous video vixen has banked heavily on her video appearances, a book that has made several best seller lists, and neck work...and you know what I mean by that. Sadly many girls are led astray by the overly sexualized images of females in today's mainstream videos. It is difficult to motivate a young female to read a book to get ahead in life when they see video girls such as Melyssa Ford sexing it up for the cameras landing high paying roles working on network stations like BET, and MTV.
As women, the issue with this form of female liberation or possibly degradation is that these type of images influence the way many men view and treat women. Being exposed to these forms imagery reduces a women's worth to being just eye candy and the fulfiller of a man's sexual needs. At times, when some men see women at a club dressed provocatively one may be inclined to act disrespectfully towards these women as the rappers/singers do in music videos.
Some would argue that Hip-hop, R&B, and Rap videos wouldn't be as entertaining if there wasn't ample lens coverage of T.N.A. (Tits and Ass). Artists such as Kanye, Naz and Jay-Z have all produced appealing and heavily requested music videos that didn't really on nudity and erotic connotations.
