Interview Questions

HHF: Why did you decide to pursue modeling? 

Krystal Starr: I initially started to pursue modeling at a young age but it was something mostly forced on me not something I decided to do. Eventual I started to gain a common interest in the field and realized that modeling was and is something I can excel in. That brings me to where I am now.

HHF: Do you feel that you have what it takes to make it mainstream?

Krystal Starr: Any model true to their craft would believe they have what it takes to succeed in this industry. So of course I think I got what it takes. Why wouldn't I?

HHF: Who do you feel is your major competition in the industry?

Krystal Starr: That's a hard question but I would have to say my major competition would have to be myself just because I always want to be better and do better. I can make or break myself... if that makes sense at all.
 
HHF: Who is your idol or favorite model in the game right now?

Krystal Starr: Anyone who knows me well knows this answer. I look up to Rihanna and Beyonce the most in this industry. They proved that once you put your mind to something you can do anything. Between the ups and downs, if you choose to stay strong you will make it through it all. These women have been through it all yet they are still leading in the fashion/entertainment sector. That's what I aspire to be someday.
 
HHF: How do you feel about the state of Hip Hop in general?

Krystal Starr: The Hip-Hop industry has changed so much, some for the better a lot more for the worst. I feel like these days other cultures are more open to the Hip-hop culture and they enjoy it, but I wish it was like that when these rappers weren't just talking about all the cash, cars, women and houses they have. I wish it was expected of them to actually rap about important substance in the world.

HHF: I have a situational question for you. Let's say you meet Ray J and he's
really feeling you. He asks you to come back to his hotel room just to
chill and talk politics. What your first reaction?

Krystal Starr: Well first off, why would Ray J want to talk politics in his room (laughter)? I think he would have a lot more planned than that. I would say to him Well since you want to talk politics how about we go have lunch you know normal discussion settings. The reason why I wouldn't go up to his hotel room is because like I'm a woman who loves to be in control of the situation. Thats how all woman should be so I wouldn't put myself in a setting where I would feel uncomfortable, because that would be like intruding into my space. I have nothing against Ray J though.
 
HHF: When HipHopFeenz is ready to start shooting will you come out and
support us?

Krystal Starr: Of course I will come out to support, plus I'm sure some on lookers would want to meet the models in person therefore to get a better idea of who we are.
 
HHF: What is your definition of a HipHopFeen?

Krystal Starr: A HipHopFeen is someone addicted to Hip-Hop in general whether it be the music, celebrities and even the gossip of the industry. Hip-Hop is almost like a swagger that people have and I'm not just referring to the celebrities. It's everything about the industry all in one.
 
HHF: What can we expect from you form you in the near future?

Krystal Starr: Expect many things from me as early next year hits, I'm currently in school so I won't be doing as many appearances as I would like but I will be right back in the game as the new year rolls in. Expect more Steamy Shoots, videos, event appearances and much more. This summer was great for my career but next year will be even better. Watch out for it!
