HHHF: Tell everyone a little bit about yourself.
Mary Shantell: My name is Mary Shantell and I stay in Pembroke Pines, FL. I started modeling almost a year ago and now hoping to do promotions, appearances, and music videos in the near future. I’m still young, just got out of school and ready to experience the real world. I’m shy and everyone misunderstands and mistaken me for being stuck up, but I’m probably one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
HHHF: So how was it like growing up in your town?
Mary Shantell: Well I always lived in the suburbs (laughs). Pembroke Pines, FL. I’m proud of where I stay though cuz I’ve been blessed with things not many people could have.
HHHF: So do you have a man?
Mary Shantell: I have a man and I’m very happy with him.
HHHF: What type of guys are you into and what does it take to get with you?
Mary Shantell: Usually I like muscular, LL Cool J type of guys, but I came to realize that everything that glitters isn’t gold. I love a man who keeps their word and who’s faithful. Someone who I can tell me everything and won’t hold anything against me.
HHHF: What is the wildest thing that you have done?
Mary Shantell: Hmm…(laughs) I don’t know if I should get into that. Sorry !
HHHF: What makes you special and different from all other aspiring models?
Mary Shantell: Well I have major plans for myself. My main priority is school and getting my degrees because I will be making six figures by the time I’m 25. I strive to be independent. I learned the hard way that people won’t always be there for you, so I wanna make sure that I’m able to take care of myself before I try to take care of someone else.
HHHF: If you were able to change one body part what would it be ?
Mary Shantell: The only thing I wanna change is making my tummy a little flatter and more toned. If I could lay off the cookies I’d be straight (laughs).
HHHF: If you have to give it up to a Hip Hop artist who would it be?
Mary Shantell: I don’t think I’d wanna give up the goods to any artist but if I had to I’d say Drake. He’s fresh, new, and sexy (laughs)..
HHHF: So I would assume that you are familiar with Toronto. What have you heard and what do you think of The city?
Mary Shantell: I heard of it when I used to watch a teen show called “Degrassi.” From then I always wanted to visit because it seemed like a nice place to visit.
Mary Shantell: I think he’s going to be very successful. I remember watching him on Degrassi and I heard one of his songs and I’m like damn, he’s pretty good. Seeing that he kept pursuing it and he’s doing big things now, I think he’ll keep it up.
HHHF: What is your definition of a “Hip Hop Feen”?
Mary Shantell: Someone who’s always up to date with new music and has a passion for it.
HHHF: Any advise for other aspiring models?
Mary Shantell: Set your limits and don’t break them for anyone. Also, try not to go to photoshoots alone. Theres some perverted ass photographers out there.
